Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how VORO ("VORO," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit voroskin.com, join our waitlist, pre-order, or receive our emails and text messages. By using our site or opting in to our messaging, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: your email address, and, if you opt in, your mobile phone number.
- Order and shipping details: when you pre-order, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your name, shipping address, and payment information to fulfill your order. VORO does not store full card numbers.
- Referral activity: your referral code and the pre-orders credited to it.
- Usage and device data: pages viewed, actions taken, and general device and analytics data, collected through cookies and similar tools. We use Google Analytics and PostHog for analytics, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Meta Conversions API for advertising measurement (see "Advertising and analytics" below).
How we use your information
- To process and ship your pre-order and provide customer support.
- To send you order and account updates by email and, if you opt in, by text message.
- To send you marketing about VORO products, launches, and offers by email and, if you opt in, by text message. You can opt out at any time (see "Your choices").
- To run our referral program and calculate rewards.
- To measure, secure, and improve our site and marketing.
Advertising and analytics
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on our site and the Meta Conversions API on our servers to measure how our ads perform. These tools can send Meta information about your visit (such as pages viewed, checkout activity, and, for completed orders, a hashed version of your email) so Meta can match it to your Meta account for ad measurement and delivery. We also use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand how people use our site. You can limit cookies and tracking through your browser settings, and you can adjust how Meta uses your data in your Meta Ad Preferences.
SMS / text messaging
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and order text messages from VORO at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies (about 4 messages per month). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our Terms for the full messaging terms.
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties except the messaging service providers that help us deliver the texts you asked for.
When you join our list or pre-order, you agree to receive marketing and order emails from VORO. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential order or account emails.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us run VORO, and only as needed to provide those services: Stripe (payments), Twilio (text messaging), our email and analytics providers (including PostHog and Google), Meta (advertising measurement, as described above), and our shipping and fulfillment partners. We may also share information to comply with the law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices and privacy rights
- Email: click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email.
- Text: reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.
- Cookies: adjust your browser settings to limit cookies and analytics.
- Access, correction, or deletion: email us to request a copy of, a correction to, or the deletion of your personal information. We honor these requests for everyone, regardless of which state you live in, and we will never treat you differently for making one.
Data retention and security
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
VORO is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our site or messaging means you accept the update.
