Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of voroskin.com and your purchases from VORO ("VORO," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our site, joining our list, opting in to texts, or placing a pre-order, you agree to these Terms, to our Privacy Policy, and to our Refund & Shipping Policy.
Eligibility
You must be 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to place an order. Orders ship to United States addresses only at this time.
Pre-orders
- VORO is currently sold as a pre-order and is expected to ship in fall 2026. Timelines are estimates and may change; if our shipping window changes, we will email you with the updated timing and the option to cancel for a full refund.
- You may cancel your pre-order any time before it ships for a full refund of amounts charged.
- Every order is also covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee after delivery. See the Refund & Shipping Policy for details.
- Pre-order pricing may end at launch.
- Product images on our site show pre-production units and are not exact. Final production units include the VORO logo and brand markings, and colors, finishes, and small details may vary slightly from the images shown.
Pricing and payment
- Prices are shown at checkout. Shipping is free on pre-orders; any future fee would be shown at checkout as shipping & handling.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. By paying, you authorize the charge shown at checkout.
- A one-time purchase is a single payment. We do not enroll one-time buyers in a subscription or save their card for future charges.
Subscriptions (Subscribe & Save)
- If you choose Subscribe & Save, you pay $9.95 today for your first 4-pack, and your subscription then automatically renews at $9.95 every 3 months for a fresh 4-pack with free U.S. shipping. Renewal billing begins on December 1, 2026, after your first pack has shipped, and continues every 3 months until you cancel.
- Your rate is locked: as long as your subscription remains active, your renewal price stays $9.95 per 4-pack, even if our prices change.
- We email you a confirmation of these terms when you subscribe, a reminder before your first renewal charge, and at least one reminder per year with your renewal terms and how to cancel.
- Cancel anytime. You can cancel online anytime at our subscription portal (no call or chat required), or by emailing hello@voroskin.com. Canceling stops all future charges. Canceling before your first pack ships also gets you a full refund of your first payment.
- If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge; if it cannot be collected, your subscription is paused or canceled and nothing further ships.
Our products
- The VORO Lip Balm Card is a cosmetic lip balm for external use on the lips only.
- Stop using it if irritation develops, and keep it out of reach of small children.
- Our products are cosmetics. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and nothing on our site is medical advice.
- The full ingredient list is printed on the product packaging and published on our site.
Messaging (SMS) terms
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to these messaging terms:
- Program: VORO sends recurring automated marketing and order alerts, including shipping updates, launch news, drops, and offers.
- Consent: your opt-in is express consent to be contacted by automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
- Frequency: message frequency varies, about 4 messages per month.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile plan.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@voroskin.com. You can also opt out by any other reasonable means, and we will honor it promptly.
- Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Supported carriers may change, and we may end the program at any time.
Referral program
Referral rewards are earned when a friend completes a pre-order through your link, not from a signup alone. Each unique referred buyer counts once; repeat orders and subscription renewals do not earn additional credits. We may verify referrals and adjust or withhold rewards for fraud, abuse, or self-referral. Rewards ship to United States addresses, have no cash value, and are not transferable.
- Reward definitions: a "12-month supply" is four 4-packs (16 Lip Balm Cards) delivered over one year. "Lip balm for life" is up to four 4-packs (16 Lip Balm Cards) per year, for as long as VORO continues to sell lip balm, for your personal use.
- Taxes: rewards may be taxable income to you. If the value of your rewards reaches $600 in a calendar year, we may require a completed W-9 and issue a Form 1099 before delivering further rewards.
- Sharing your link: if you recommend VORO while sharing your referral link, tell people you can earn rewards from it. A simple "I get free VORO if you order through my link" is enough.
The 1,000 pre-order signature tier (a colorway you help design, sold under your name) is a collaboration with VORO, subject to the following:
- VORO has final and sole approval over the colorway's name, design, colors, packaging, and all related marketing. We may decline or modify any proposed name or design, including any that may infringe third-party rights or that does not meet our standards.
- Production and release timing are at VORO's sole discretion. We may produce and sell the signature colorway whenever we choose, and no production or release date is promised or guaranteed.
- The signature colorway, its product name, and all related designs are VORO's property and are sold under the VORO brand.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorized access. All VORO content, marks, and designs are our property and may not be used without permission.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site and products are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. VORO is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, our messaging, or our products, except where prohibited by law. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product at issue. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you have a problem, contact us first at hello@voroskin.com; most issues can be resolved quickly and informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, except that either of us may use small claims court where available. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the laws of your state that cannot be waived.
General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund & Shipping Policy, are the entire agreement between you and VORO about the site and your purchases.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our site or messaging means you accept the update.
